A song that debuted at a downtown Saratoga New Year’s Eve concert was highlighted over the weekend at the Mountain Jam Festival two hours south at Belleayre Mountain in Highmount, NY.
Dogs in a Pile headlined Putnam Place this past New Year’s Eve to cap off four nights at the downtown live music venue. During that concert, the jam band from Asbury Park, NJ debuted a song that they now play on tour — a total of 17 times so far in 2025..
According to a June 23 article in the live music magazine Relix, Dogs in a Pile “gave special attention” to the song, called “116 Days,” at the music festival.
“We are so grateful for the entire community of Saratoga for welcoming in our wrecking crew for the week,” the band wrote in a December 30 Instagram post.
The Dogs features Jeremy Kaplan on keyboard, Brian Murray and Jimmy Law on guitar, Joey Babick on drums, and Sam Lucid on bass. All but Babick contribute vocals.
