A recent afternoon in the foodie paradise of Hudson produced a delicious turmeric coffee with orange essence and tahini — and the resultant caffeine-fueled stroll around town yielded all kinds of exotic treats. There were strawberry-flavored licorice bites from Denmark, nut butters from Spain, and even artisan tortilla chips that promised unparalleled crunch. So after perusing some $52 bottles of Tuscan olive oil at the Olde Hudson Café & Market — a Warren Street institution — this Saratogian was delighted to not only find Saratoga Chocolate, but to see that it received a prime display. The flavors that appeal to our southern neighbors with discerning taste: Latte, Bodhi (crispy quinoa and puffed brown rice in milk chocolate), Dark Horse (65% special reserve dark chocolate) and Dark Crunch (Bodhi but with dark chocolate).
