A Tommy Bahama-branded store has moved into 328 Broadway, the former Luxe Studio hair salon next door to Bobbles and Lace — but you might not know it, even if you walked right by. The store has been open for more than two weeks, yet since the sign out front has not yet been approved by the city planners, the only signage is over the inset doorway and in the window. This very Saratoga predicament makes the store rather difficult to see while driving or even walking by.
This location’s name is officially “Bahama on Broadway,” said manager Gil Elgerabli. The location is about 1,000 square feet including a back room that’s three steps down from the main floor. That space will be used but is under renovation now.
The store has a full line of the 2025 Tommy Bahama clothing.
“We have an account with Tommy Bahama,” Elgerabli says. “We’re [also] going to carry another brand. It’s called Johnny Was.”
Elgerabli and Ravi Gvili also own a Tommy Bahama and Lilly Pulitzer store in the new strip mall in the Lake George Outlets at 1471 U.S. Route 9 in Lake George. That development opened last year under the ownership of Subway restaurant franchisee Russ Faden. Along with the Tommy Bahama, the strip includes the Subway and a marijuana dispensary.
