Faculty and staff of SUNY Empire State University were evacuated from their building at 113 West Ave. in Saratoga for a possible fire. Firefighters arrived at about 10:30 a.m and determined there was no threat by 10:45.
Employees inside the SUNY building were directed to 111 West Ave., also owned by SUNY and located just across the parking lot, to stay out of the heat. They are reentering 113 West Ave. shortly thereafter.
